Had an interesting talk with Seamus the other day, even though it was short... he's in a tough situation. I know. I've been there. He wanted advice, but... I'm afraid I couldn't give him much. Kind of sad... I've been dealing with this for a couple of years now, and I still don't have a solution. I don't want my friend to go through the same thing.
I promised to pass along the solution once I'd found out what it was.

In recent news, I am sick and bloody tired of trying to figure out this Ancient Runes assignment. I finally let Hermione talk me into doing it, since I really do need the extra credit, but now I'm suddenly remembering why I bombed the class in the first place: I don't understand a damn thing about runes. Who does? It's all... rocks and little squiggles and... yeah. I give up on trying to do this myself. I'm going to go ask Professor Lauder for help.
Stupid runes. Stupid grades. We shouldn't even have grades. I don't think we even need them, really. Nope.
